At the Tyndall Education Office, we work to make sure that our military members and their families have the opportunity to learn and grow. From local universities to military testing, let us help you to be the best you can be!

We offer education counseling for Air Force Personnel (Active, Guard, and Reserve) and their families.

Military Testing

CLEP/DSST testing available at Tyndall AFB, Force Development Center, BLDG 1230 in room 34 through the Gulf Coast State College National Testing office. To schedule a CLEP exam, please call 850.283.2323 or 850.283.2295 for customer assistance.

Troy University – Conveniently located on Tyndall Air Force Base, this Troy University teaching site is the perfect place to begin or continue your degree. Choose from in-class instruction, or our staff can help you register for Troy Online classes. However you choose to complete your degree, you’ll get the personalized attention and support you need to succeed.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Embry-Riddle is the world’s pre-eminent university for aviation and aerospace education. However, our dynamic, hands-on programs will prepare you for careers well beyond the limits of the sky.

Our Worldwide Campus has been working with U.S. military service members since 1970, helping them to earn a degree while on active duty or as veterans. And we do it at more than 90 military installations around the globe.

The Embry-Riddle Tyndall Campus — located at Tyndall Air Force Base — offers associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, as well as undergraduate certifications, that will help you in the military, after you’ve served your country, or as a civilian.

Gulf Coast State College – If you are an active service member, veteran, dependent, Department of Defense employee or a civilian (general public), then you can take classes at Gulf Coast State College’s Tyndall Education Center. Our program offers you more than 30 general education courses each semester. You can take occupational training classes for an Associate in Science degree, or general education courses for an Associate in Arts degree which prepares you to transfer into a bachelor’s degree program at Gulf Coast State College or another Florida university.

Gulf Coast State College’s Office of Military and Veterans Services is dedicated to helping you. If you’re a military student, we’ll help you make the most of your education benefits. If you’re a veteran, we’ll work with you to ensure that you get the best benefit from the GI Bill. Our office also houses a National Testing Center for military personnel who qualify to sit for CLEP/DANTES exams.
