Child + Youth Programs

Our Mission: To assist DoD military and civilian personnel in balancing the competing demands of accomplishing the DoD mission and family life by managing and delivering a system of quality, available, and affordable programs and services for eligible children and youth from birth through 18 years of age.

Child Development Center

Air Force Child Development programs are designed to support the whole child, recognizing that development is interconnected and equally important. Children learn best through hands-on experiences with their environment, peers, and caring adults. We value each child’s unique interests, abilities, and needs while respecting family cultures and values. Our commitment extends to advocating for children, families, and early childhood professionals.

Our program offers full-time care for military and DoD patrons, with priority based on availability. Fees are determined by total household income, including base pay, BAH, and BAS. Hourly care and slot leasing may be available based on child absences. To determine your fee category, submit all LES and pay statements to the desk clerks. Fee charts are available at the facility.

Youth Center Program

Youth Programs (YP) provides activities and programs that improve and maintain the physical and mental well-being of youth ages 5 to 12. The YP computer room and school-age rooms. Youth Programs in affiliation with 4H and Boys & Girls Club of America promotes the five core areas of character and leadership; education and career; health and life skills; the arts; and sports, fitness, and recreation.

Our program offers School Year Care/Summer Camp to all Military and Department of Defense Patrons. Care is offered by priority and is based on availability. Fees are calculated by total household income which includes; Base Pay, BAH and BAS. To determine fee category all LES and Pay statement must be submitted to the desk clerks. Program Fee Chart are available at the facility.
